20 year reunion this weekend

but I'm not going because it is too far away. Gordon's was two weeks ago. We both graduated '89.
For his birthday, which is today, I made him this needle-felted coaster with his school mascot.
Gaels Coaster
As much as it pleased me to be making my husband something that I knew he'd appreciate, I admit that I dreaded making something so "uncreative." However, it did help me learn a new skill: putting print onto my projects.
Needlefelting is my "red shoes." I go to bed every night with new project visions dancing in my head, keeping me awake. In the morning they disappear and I regret not staying up all night honoring those visions.

*** Watch this documentary on the ecological issues faced by Iceland, presented by Bjork. It is disturbing and beautiful. http://www.hulu.com/watch/99583/nattura

So how DO you put print on your felting (unless it's a trade secret).  It looks great!

I used an iron-on inkjet tranfer sheet. It burned the wool a little bit, but that all gets covered up with the fleece anyway. Thank you, Ms. Tulip.
